About Lee Ho Fook
From Melbourne’s two-hatted Lee Ho Fook comes a new chapter. LHF cuisine draws on the legacy of deliciousness passed down by generations of Chinese Australians – taking it in a highly personal, creative direction. Showcasing the best of Australian producers, growers, and winemakers, we combine traditional and modern techniques to create Chinese cuisine that surprises and delights.
Meaning “good fortune for your mouth”, Lee Ho Fook takes its name from the Warren Zevon lyrics in Werewolves of London – a playful nod to joy in eating.
About Victor Liong, Chef & Owner
Victor Liong arrived in Australia from Brunei at age six and grew up in Sydney’s vibrant multicultural scene. He trained at Galileo, Mr Wong, and Marque, which heavily influence his cooking style.
In 2013, Victor opened Lee Ho Fook in Melbourne’s Collingwood, quickly gaining popularity and relocating in 2015 to a larger CBD venue. His restaurant is known for creative, new-style Chinese cuisine.
In 2021, Lee Ho Fook expanded with a location at Marvel Stadium, offering family-friendly, large-format Chinese Australian classics.
