Victor Liong
Victor Liong is an acclaimed Australian chef and restaurateur known for redefining modern Chinese-Australian cuisine with bold creativity and cultural depth. Born in Brunei, he moved to Australia at age six and grew up immersed in the multicultural energy of Sydney. He trained in leading kitchens including Galileo and Mr Wong, with his time at the acclaimed Marque restaurant continuing to influence his approach today.
Victor is the chef-owner behind Melbourne’s celebrated Lee Ho Fook, as well as a creative force behind concepts such as Quenino, Bossa Nova Sushi and Silkspoon, with venues across Melbourne and Singapore. His cooking blends innovation, tradition and storytelling, creating dining experiences that honour culture, land and place.
In September 2025, Victor opened Lee Ho Fook Sydney at the Porter House precinct. Just months after opening, the restaurant was awarded Two Hats in The Age Good Food Guide 2026, cementing its place among Sydney’s most exciting dining destinations.
